I enjoyed the Bootcamp. Very blue collared and unpretensious. The men were good looking and fun to play with.

We did want to like this bar, but didn't. Bartenders were not that friendly and it wasn't that clean of a bar.

I also found last review (one star rated) troublesome. Been there many times had no problems. Most bars I go-to action don't start unto late hours anyways.. WTF if your not into leather vests, chaps, tit clamps, cock rings etc... then don't go there..give me abreak..

This place is dirty! I went in to the bathroom and had to leave to use a bathroom at another bar. Needless to say I didn't go back. There are several other bars in Milwaukee that draw a leather crowd if thats what your looking for. The owner has a very strange way of selecting which patrons he allows in the doors. Check out "Kruz" or "Harbor Room"... much more inviting atmosphere. Heard this place was closing soon. It'll be a plus for the image of the local gay community.

Found the last review very interesting. Not sure about it. When I visited Milwaukee I really liked the Boot Camp. I found it to be a NEIGHBORHOOD Leather Bar; a worthy instititution in our worldly gay community. I'm guessing Boot Camp is the same now as it was five years ago. It was a good club with serious action.

Milwaukee has some POOR gay establishments,this is the worst !!!! The only time there is even the slightest "crowd" in the place is well after midnite. And they are not necessarily there to drink and socialize...it's even a poor excuse for a cruize joint. If it were to embrace a more "neighborhood" bar feel and get rid of the "leather man" attitude, it would go farther. If you want a "man's" bar, this is definatly NOT what to invest your $$$ in. Besides, leather is something best left in the past. And get a bloody pool table.
