AIDS Walk Wisconsin

Dear Family and Friends, I recently registered for AIDS Walk Wisconsin, an event that has been making a difference for more than 20 years in the lives of Wisconsin residents living with HIV/AIDS. Proceeds from AIDS Walk Wisconsin support HIV prevention, care and provide treatment services in Wisconsin, including the ARCW Medical Center, the largest provider of HIV medical, dental and behavioral health care in the state. Over the past year, HIV infections in Wisconsin rose more than 19% and thousands more are at risk. In fact, recent studies have indicated that 50% of college age men will be HIV+ by the time they’re 50 years old. Proper education is the key to bucking this trend.
