Dear Family and Friends,
I recently registered for AIDS Walk Wisconsin, an event that has been making a difference for more than 20 years in the lives of Wisconsin residents living with HIV/AIDS.
I am inviting you to join our efforts and help me achieve my fundraising goal. Proceeds from AIDS Walk Wisconsin support HIV prevention, care and provide treatment services in Wisconsin, including the ARCW Medical Center, the largest provider of HIV medical, dental and behavioral health care in the state.
Over the past year, HIV infections in Wisconsin rose more than 19% and thousands more are at risk. In fact, recent studies have indicated that 50% of college age men will be HIV+ by the time they’re 50 years old. Proper education is the key to bucking this trend. That's why your support is so critical. Please join us in the fight against AIDS by making a donation toward my personal fundraising goal. It's fast, easy and secure to make a pledge. Visit my personal page and donate online, or send a contribution to:
AIDS Walk Wisconsin
P.O. Box 510498
Milwaukee, WI 53203-0092
Make checks payable to: AIDS Walk Wisconsin.
If sending a check, please indicate your donation is in support of my efforts by including a brief note with your pledge.
Thank you for supporting me as I walk to ensure that people with HIV and AIDS can live longer, healthier lives.
Sincerely,
Jamison Yttri
P.S. If you’re interested in walking with me on October 5, along Milwaukee’s beautiful lake front, please let me know!
