Join the J-Pride LGBT outreach and inclusion initiative of the Milwaukee Jewish Federation and Keshet for a professional development workshop and training focused on building a more inclusive, welcoming and accommodating Jewish community in Milwaukee.
A variety of learning modalities and approaches will be taught to build the capacity of Jewish educators, clergy, camp counselors, program staff, youth professionals and other communal professionals and lay leaders to understand the unique needs of LGBTQ youth, families and staff. Using a mix of case-study and scenario work, text study, and institutional assessment, participants are given concrete tools for use in their professional roles in the Jewish community.
