From the Artist::
"The Zebra is the manifestation of the outlier; the one that innately, instinctively doesn’t fit in. The Watering Hole is a multimedia narrative mapping the physical and psychological journey of a young nonconformist, A.K.A. The Zebra, cruising the Milwaukee bar scene. As they strut the streets peering through windows observing an onslaught of normativity they miraculously stumble into The Watering Hole, a fictional bar unlike any other.
As the character quenches their thirst in a variety of ways, they are immersed in a queer-extravaganza-free-for-all-art-house of uninhibited expression. It’s not until The Zebra reaches The Watering Hole that interior and exterior collide to create a space that is truly unhinged from a world that awards uniformity over individualism, stability over spontaneity, and hate over love. The Watering Hole exposes the sliver of magic that can be found in the everyday and turns it into a fantastical and raucous journey through symbolism."
